The following incidents occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
24-110796 (Retail Theft - Arrest): 4700 block of Natomas Blvd at 2001 hours.
Officers responded to reports of a grand theft. Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Officers responded and located the suspect vehicle. The suspects were detained and arrested for related charges.
24-110933 (Traffic Stop/Pursuit - Arrest): 3000 Block of Rio Linda Blvd at 2359 hours.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. As officers made contact, officers observed a firearm inside the vehicle and attempted to detain the driver. The driver began to flee, striking a police vehicle and hitting an officer with the side mirror. A pursuit ensued and eventually, the suspect pulled over and was taken into custody without incident. The driver was arrested on related charges.
24-110480 (Firearm - Arrest): 7800 Block of 33rd Ave at 1358 hours.
Officers received information that a 17 year-old was armed with a firearm. Officers safely detained the suspect and during the investigation, officers located an illegally possessed firearm. The suspect was arrested for related charges.
24-110504 (Stolen Vehicle - Arrest): Meadowview Rd / Detroit Blvd at 1415 hours.
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle. The driver was detained and arrested for related charges.
