The following incidents occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

North Command

26-013248 (Pursuit - Firearm/Narcotics Arrest): Shelden St / Ivy St at 2059 hours.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. The driver failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit. The driver and passenger fled from the vehicle on foot. The driver was quicky detained and the passenger was eventually detained with the assistance of our UAS. Two handguns were located and a large quantity of narcotics. Both suspects were arrested on related charges.

Central Command

26-012612 (Collision - DUI/Firearm Arrest): 600 Block of 9th St at 0821 hours.

Officers responded to reports of a man slumped over the wheel after crashing into a mailbox and a guard rail. During the investigation, officers found an illegally possessed loaded firearm. The suspect was a convicted felon and was arrested for DUI and firearm related charges.
