The crimes reported here are preliminary investigations, taken in the field by patrol officers, and may or may not be assigned to a detective for further investigation. The following incidents occurred between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

North Command

26-051895 (Shooting - Investigation): 2800 Block Aquino Dr at 2254 hours.

Officers responded to reports of sounds of gunfire. Responding officers located evidence of a shooting but no reported victims or property damage. Officers conducted an investigation and a report was generated.  

26-051842 (Assault - Arrest): 800 Block Rio Robles Ave at 2204 hours.

Officers responded to reports of a physical altercation. Responding officers located an adult male victim who was transported to an area hospital. Officers located the suspect nearby and arrested the suspect for related charges.
