The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 38-year-old Kenneth Johnson in connection with a burglary series that occurred late last year. The burglary series began in July 2008 and ended in December 2008. In all, thirteen homes in the McKinley Park area of the City were targeted.
Johnson has been linked to three of the thirteen burglaries through forensic evidence. The other ten incidents are still under investigation. Investigators believe Johnson entered the residences via an unlocked door or window while the residents slept inside. Once inside, Johnson would steal whatever was in plain view. All of the burglaries occurred overnight between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. The date and locations of the burglaries are listed below:
