Public's Help Needed to Solve 2006 Double Homicide

The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the assistance from the community to solve the 2006 homicide of 52-year-old Evelyn Wash and 48-year-old Deborah Williams.

On August 6, 2006, at 9:30 p.m., Evelyn Wash and Deborah Williams were shot to death inside their apartment at the Palms Lakes apartment complex located at 2453 Rio Linda Blvd.

This case is un-solved and the Sacramento Police Department's Cold Case Unit is seeking help from the public in trying to identify the person or persons responsible for this double homicide.  At this time, detectives do not have a motive for the murders.

Minutes prior to the victims being found shot, a witness reported seeing three male Hispanics in their 20's leaving the complex. The composite sketch was recently completed based on the witness information.
