Today, April 20, 2009, at about 8:48 a.m., an 18-year-old female was walking near the intersection of Natomas Crossing and Sparrow Drive when a man driving a pick-up truck pulled up next to her and stopped. The man got out of the truck, approached the victim and said he needed to talk to her. The victim did not know the man and refused to engage him in conversation. The suspect then punched the victim in the face, picked her up, threw her over his shoulder, and walked towards his vehicle. The victim resisted and managed to break loose from his grasp. The victim ran away and called 911. The suspect fled in his vehicle in an unknown direction. Officers quickly responded to the area and conducted a search for the suspect and his vehicle with negative results.
The suspect was described as a male Black in his late 20's. He is about 6'1" in height and was wearing a black shirt and blue shorts. The suspect had a scar on his upper lip, possibly from a cleft pallet. The vehicle was described as a new blue Dodge pick-up truck, possibly a Ram.

Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
