The Sacramento Police Department needs the community's help in identifying two suspects wanted for a series of purse snatchings that occurred at a supermarket (4650 Natomas Boulevard). The first incident occurred on May 1, 2009, the second on May 2, 2009, and a third on May 14, 2009.
In each of these occurrences, the suspects entered the store and immediately began to seek out women shoppers who had their purse sitting in a shopping cart. Once the suspects identified their target, they would approach the women from behind, grab their purse and run out of the store.
During one of the incidents, the suspects were seen fleeing the area in a black Honda Accord driven by an Asian female.
Suspect #1 was described as a Black male between 16 and 18 years old. He was between 5'6" and 5'8" in height and weighed between 150 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a light gray hoddie with a dark gray hood and sleeves.
Suspect #2 was described as a Black male between 16 and 18 years old. He was between 5'6" and 5'8" in height and weighed between 150 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a white hoodie with gray stripes in a checkerboard pattern.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to these crimes to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
