The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying suspects involved in a sexual assault.
On July 5, 2009, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the victim was walking in the area of Dixieanne Avenue near Oakmont Street. The victim was approached by four male Black adults who grabbed and then sexually assaulted her. The suspects beat and robbed the victim before fleeing the scene in a 80-90s burgundy Cadillac. Officers arrived within minutes to the scene and began the investigation. The victim was taken to the hospital for medical care.
The suspects are described as follows:
#1- male, Black, 23-25 years old, 5'6", 165-170 lbs, stocky build, tiny twisties in hair, thin blackmustache and wearing a black T-shirt with a silver design on front. (See composite sketch below)
#2- male, Black, early 20s, 5'6"-5'6", 175 lbs, stocky build, hair pulled back in ponytail (small puff), and wearing a gray sweatshirt.
#3- male, Black, 19-21 years old, light skinned, 5'6"-5'7",160 lbs, slim build, long stringy black shoulder-length braids and wearing a red sweatshirt.
#4- male, Black, 19-21 years old wearing a dark blue sweatshirt.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
