The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a late night shooting that left one person dead and another in critical condition.
On July 21, 2009, at 10:14 p.m., the Police Department responded to Seavey Circle near 5th Street on a person who had been shot. Officers arrived and found a 35-year-old male Black who was declared deceased at the scene and a 28-year-old male Black who was transported from the scene to U.C. Davis Medical Center in critical condition.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators responded and took over the investigation. The investigation is on-going and no further details are available at this time.
