The Sacramento Police Department is looking for 34-year-old Stephen Dyser for charges of burglary, robbery, and an assault with intent to commit a sexual offense that occurred last week near Fruitridge Road and Ortega Street.
On August 18, 2009, at 3:15 a.m., a female victim woke up to a male subject on top of her holding a knife. The victim fearing that she would be sexually assaulted began to scream and fight back. The suspect struck the victim but the victim continued to fight back. The suspect then fled the area.
Detectives received information that Stephen Dyser may be the person responsible in this case. Evidence was located that linked Dyser as being the suspect.
Stephen Dyser is described as a male Black, 5'10", 160 lbs, black hair and brown eyes. (See attached photos).
