On Monday, August 31, 2009, 20-year-old Jackie Phoulivanh was arrested by the Sacramento Police Department in connection with a shooting to the Sacramento County Jail.  The shooting occurred on August 16, 2009, at approximately 10:35 p.m.

Investigators from both the Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento Sheriff's Department began concurrent investigations.  Based on the information gathered, investigators obtained search warrants for various locations throughout Sacramento.  The searches were executed yesterday and yielded additional information that gave investigators probable cause to arrest Jackie Phoulivanh.
