The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 34-year-old Albert Pouadora for several counts of sexual assault.
On August 10, 2009, at 4:00 a.m., a 16-year-old female victim was walking downtown when she was contacted by the suspect. The suspect drove her to a vacant lot near D and 10th Streets where he sexually assaulted her.
On August 27, 2009, at 4:00 a.m., a 49-year-old female victim was walking near Stockton Boulevard and 15th Avenue when she was contacted by the suspect. The suspect drove her to an alley near Alhambra Boulevard and Broadway where he sexually assaulted her.
On September 3, 2009, the Police Department released a composite sketch of a suspect responsible for at least two sexual assaults. The suspect was contacting females that he thought were prostitutes and then pretended to be a law enforcement officer demanding sexual acts.
Between September 17 and 18, the Police Department received two tips leading to the identity of Albert Pouadora as being responsible for the sexual assaults. Today, Pouadora was contacted near his residence in the 2400 block of L Street and was later booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
The suspect's photo is not being released at this time due to the on-going investigation.
