The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a 24-year-old male that occurred on Saturday evening.
On October 10, 2009, at 8:20 p.m., the Police Department responded to Maccan Court and John Still Drive on a person who had been shot. The male was transported to Kaiser South were he later died from his injuries. At the time of the shooting, a female adult and a young child were also in the home but were not injured.
Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Detectives believe that two male Blacks, late teens to early twenties, wearing dark hoodies, forced their way into the house and shot the victim. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
