On November 17, 2009, the Sacramento Police Department arrested 35-year-old Eugene Walls for the November 14th murder at 32nd St. and 16th Av.
A search warrant pursuant to the homicide investigation at Walls' residence resulted in ammunition being located. Walls is considered a person prohibited from possessing ammunition due to his background. Walls was stopped at Fruitridge and Martin Luther King Blvd. and arrested for the illegal possession of ammunition.
After follow-up investigation, Detectives linked Walls to the homicide and arrested him for murder. It is still unclear what the motive for the homicide was. No photo is being released at this time.
