The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying a suspect who robbed a bank this morning.
On January 22, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., the suspect entered the bank, located in the 8300 block of Folsom Boulevard, armed with a gun. The suspect grabbed an employee and demanded money. The suspect was able to obtain the employee's keys and fled in her personal vehicle. Officers located the vehicle near Great Falls Way and Occidental Drive.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic approximately 25 years old, clean shaven with long side burns. He was wearing a dark or royal blue hooded pullover sweatshirt with a white emblem on the left chest area and black jeans.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
