The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a 23-year-old male.
On February 14, 2010, at 3:24 p.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of 53rd Street on a man who had just been stabbed. Officers arrived finding the male victim with critical injuries. The Sacramento Fire Department transported the victim to U.C. Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Based upon their preliminary investigation it is believed that the victim got into a confrontation with the suspect. The confrontation got physical and the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, late teens to early twenties, 5'4", 130 lbs, spiked hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
