The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help to identify a man, who is going door to door in a local neighborhood and is responsible for a sexual battery.
On February 16, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., in the 1800 block of Discovery Way, the suspect contacted the victim at her front door. He claimed to be associated with a local mortgage loan company and conversed with her about her home. During the conversation, he inappropriately touched her and kissed her. The victim was able to get away from the male and called the police.
The suspect was described as a male White adult, with a dark olive complexion, 5'8", 190 pounds, with a large belly. He had a thick accent (possibly Serbian) and short black hair with some grey starting to show. He had a scruffy beard and silver teeth on the upper right side of his mouth. He was wearing a black zip up jacket with a red logo on the back. His vehicle was an off white 1987 Nissan Sentra, 4 doors.
Detectives are actively investigating the case but warn residents to be very careful of anyone approaching you in or near your home. If there is any question as to their identity, call the police and do not provide them with your personal information.
