The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the death of a 66-year-old male that occurred at 9th and K Street.
On February 27, 2010, at 5:41 p.m., the Sacramento Fire Department responded to a medical call of a man down at 9th and K Street. Upon arrival, they found a male suffering from head trauma. The Police Department was requested to respond due to the nature of the injuries. The male victim was transported to Sutter General Hospital were he later died from his injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, police were not able to determine what had occurred to the victim.
Police are urging anyone who was may have seen the victim around the time of this incident to contact the police. The victim is described as a male White, 66 years old, walks hunched over and with a cane.
