The Sacramento Police Department is investigating an early morning fatal traffic collision between two vehicles.
On March 6, 2010, at approx. 3:37 a.m., the Police Department responded to a vehicle collision at Cosumnes River Boulevard and Center Parkway. Officers arrived finding three males who died at the scene and one male who was transported to an area hospital.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears that two passenger vehicles collided near the middle of Cosumnes River Boulevard and Center Parkway. The vehicles, a Lincoln and an Acura, came to rest in a field north east of the intersection. The Acura caught on fire with two victims inside. Two additional victims were found outside of the vehicles and are believed to be occupants from the Acura. At this time, Investigators are seeking to locate the driver and/or occupants from the Lincoln. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
