The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help to solve a fatal hit-and-run accident from 2008. 

On Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at 9:46 p.m., a 73-year-old man was struck and killed as he attempted to cross the intersection of 16^th St and N St.  The victim was in the crosswalk and had the right of way at the time he was hit.  The driver did not stop and continued traveling north on 16^th St. 

The driver of the vehicle was described as a male White adult.  The vehicle may have been a white, late 90's, Ford F150 long bed pick-up truck.  It was described as having a lumber rack and a tool box near the front cab.  Investigators believe the truck may have minor damage to the right front passenger side, grill, or hood.
