The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying a subject believed to have conned and robbed a mentally disabled female.

On April 4, 2010, at around 7:30 p.m., the victim was approached by a subject near Mack Road and Center Parkway.  The subject asked the victim to assist him by cashing a check. The subject walked with the victim to a nearby ATM and deposited the check into her account.  The check later ended up having insufficient funds.  The subject then withdrew cash from the victim's account, pushed the victim, and proceeded to take her purse and laptop computer.  The victim's ATM card was used shortly after the robbery at a convenience store.  Surveillance camera at the convenience store captured the subject entering and leaving after he withdrew more money using the victim's ATM card.  Detectives are releasing the photos from the surveillance footage in hopes that someone will recognize the subject and come forward with information needed to identify him.

The subject is described as a male Asian, 20's, 5'6-5'9", 180 lbs, black short hair, black mustache, wearing tan pants, tan jacket and a white shirt.  The suspect vehicle is a light colored, 1970's, Jeep Wagoneer, with wood paneling.
