The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help to identify an armed robber who was caught on video surveillance.
On May 27, 2010, at 10:52 a.m., the suspect was caught on surveillance camera at a gas station located in the 3700 block of Franklin Boulevard. The suspect displayed a gun, reached over the counter and grabbed money out of the opened cash register.
A similar robbery is being investigated that may be connected. On May 22, 2010, at 10:37 a.m., a suspect entered a cell phone business located in the 3900 block of Stockton Boulevard. The suspect displayed a gun, had the clerk open the cash register, reached over the counter and grabbed money.
The suspect in both robberies was described as a male Black, in his late 30's-40's years of age, 5'10", 200 lbs, medium to heavy build.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
