The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of 31-year-old Luis Garcia.
On May 22, 2010, at 2:10 a.m., officers responded to Arden Way and Exposition Boulevard on a subject who had been shot. Officers arrived finding four victims with what was believed to be non-life threatening injuries from being shot. Officer's preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were all brothers and sisters and had just left a nearby night club. At the night club, the victims had gotten into an argument with another group. The victims left the night club and while stopped at Arden Way and Exposition Boulevard they were shot at by occupants of a burgundy car with tinted windows.
On May 30, 2010, the Police Department was notified that Luis Garcia had died from the injuries sustained during the May 22 shooting. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
