The Northern California Regional Public Safety Training Authority (NCRPSTA -JPA) is proud to announce the grand opening of the JPA Firing Range Complex. This new complex located at 5436 Patrol Road, McClellan Business Park, is designed to provide quality firearms training to public safety agencies from throughout the region.
The NCRPSTA - JPA mission is to operate and maintain regional public safety training facilities and to enhance the quality of public safety education by combining resources and consolidating budgets. The JPA Firing Range Complex stands as a testament to that mission. Through partnerships with the Sacramento Police Department and the local office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Firing Range Complex will stand as a model firearms training facility.
Current JPA members include the Sacramento Police Department, the Los Rios Community College District, and the California Regional Fire Rescue Training Authority consisting of the Sacramento City Fire Department, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services.
The grand opening of the Firing Range Complex is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 2010, at 9:00 a.m. Firing range demonstrations and a tour of the complex will commence immediately after the grand opening ceremony (approximately 10:00 a.m.). Media is invited to attend.
