The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating 58-years-old Phyllis Nichols who has been reported missing.
On June 18, 2010, at 9:15 a.m., officers responded to a missing persons call in downtown Sacramento. A witness had located a backpack and purse on 2nd Street between I and K Street. The witness contacted a phone number he found in the purse and spoke to Phyllis Nichols' husband. The witness then contacted the Police Department.
The officers spoke to the missing person's husband and discovered that on June 18, 2010, Nichols was traveling from Tacoma, Washington to Los Angeles. Nichols had a layover in Sacramento at 1:40 a.m. Nichols was not on the bus when it arrived in Los Angeles. It appears Nichols has memory loss when she fails to take her diabetic medication and has seizures when she is under stress.
Phyllis Nichols is a female Black, 58-years-old, 5'2", 130 lbs.,salt and pepper colored hair, and has no teeth. Nichols was last seen wearing a black fur coat over a long-sleeved white shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
