The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed a local convenience store clerk at gunpoint.
On Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at 9:09 p.m., the suspect entered a gas station/convenience store located in the 8900 block of Pocket Road and robbed the store clerk at gunpoint. The suspect took cash from the cash register and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a male Black adult who was dressed like a woman. He is believed to be in his early 20's, 5'10" in height, and weighing about 175 pounds. He was wearing a pink hat, pink shirt, pink/black plaid skirt and pink high heel shoes.
Detectives are releasing the surveillance video in hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and come forward with information needed to identify him.
