The Sacramento Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left four injured.
On October 17, 2010, at 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the 6100 block of Lemon Bell Avenue on a call of subjects that were shot. Officers arrived finding four victims with gunshot wounds. Three male Asian victims in their early 20's were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. A 16-year-old male Asian was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed that a light colored vehicle drove by and shot at a group of people who were at the residence for a party. Detectives are investigating this incident as being possibly gang involved.
