The Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department will compete in a charitable basketball game.

On October 30, 2010, at 4 p.m., the game will take place at Sacramento High School in the Dave Hotell Memorial Pavilion.  There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Sacramento Police Foundation.

The Sacramento Police Foundation's purpose is to help plan and fund activities and programs that benefit the community and department in a variety of ways. The Foundation provides an opportunity for the Sacramento Police Department to build stronger relationships between the department and the citizens it serves.

Admission is only $5 and can be paid at the door. Come out and cheer on law enforcement as they engage in a friendly, yet competitive game of basketball.
