Many people have a pile of important documents and work papers they no longer need and want to dispose of them safely. Many of us also have unwanted electronics that need to be properly disposed of.
The Sacramento Police Department, the Citizens' Crime Alert Reward Program, Cintas, and E-Waste Recovery Systems are partnering up to offer a free document shred and e-waste disposal day on Saturday, November 6, 2010. This event will be held in the parking lot of the Public Safety Center, 5770 Freeport Boulevard, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The general public and businesses are welcome. There is a limit of 4 banker's boxes of documents per person. This is a great opportunity to protect your confidential information on important documents and property dispose of them.
Come by to dispose of your unwanted computers, monitors, televisions, radios, printers, cell phones, scanners, DVD players, electrical cords, fax machines, etc. Batteries, household appliances, or light bulbs will not be accepted for e-waste disposal.
