The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help to identify a credit card thief.
On Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., the suspect entered the school in the 3200 block of W River Dr. She stole several credit cards from two teachers' purses while the room was empty. The suspect made multiple purchases, locally and in the bay area, with the stolen credit cards. She was seen leaving in a silver Nissan Altima-4 door.
On Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 8:10 a.m., the suspect came to the 3900 block of Del Paso Rd, inquiring about the school. When the victim walked away from her purse, the suspect stole several credit cards. The suspect made multiple purchases, locally and in the bay area, with the stolen credit cards. The suspect is described as a female Black 30-35 years old, 5'6", 140 lbs, with black shoulder-length hair.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
