The Sacramento Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left a 27-year-old dead.
On February 20, 2011, at 2:40 a.m., officers received a call to the 2900 block of Advantage Way on a subject who had been shot outside a restaurant. Officers arrived finding a 27-year-old male who had been shot and was declared deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed that two groups of subjects got into an argument inside the restaurant. The groups went outside and the argument escalated when the victim was shot. The suspects are described as two male Blacks, 20's, 5'8-5'10".
