The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help to identify two suspects in connection with a residential burglary and the theft of a vehicle.
On Monday, March 14, 2011, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m., the victim's home, located in the 8200 block of Grandstaff Drive, was burglarized. The suspects stole personal items including a spare key to a vehicle that was not at the residence at the time of the burglary.
On Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:30 p.m., the same victim discovered his vehicle had been stolen. There were no signs of forced entry. Thus, detectives believe the spare key, stolen during the burglary, was used to steal the vehicle. The attached photos were taken on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 6:30 p.m., just after the suspects were seen exiting the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered.
The suspects are described as two male Black juveniles, one wearing a multi-colored jacket and one wearing a grey jacket.
