The Sacramento Police Department is releasing a composite sketch of a man who robbed a hotel and sexually assaulted the clerk. Detectives hope that someone will recognize him and come forward with information necessary to identify him.
On Friday, April 22, 2011, at 4:45 a.m., the suspect called the hotel, located in the 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Drive, requesting to rent a room. The victim opened the door for the suspect and let him in. Both the suspect and the victim approached the counter where the suspect produced a gun and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect led the victim to a back room where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled with cash, on foot.
The suspect was described as a male Black 30's, 5'11-6'2", with a solid build, wearing a black baseball hat, a black thermal type shirt, and black pants with a red and yellow design on the rear pocket. He was armed with a gun.
