The Sacramento Police Department is looking for a man, wanted for raping a woman in a public restroom.
On Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 8:10 p.m., officers responded to Garden Highway and Truxel Road on a rape that had just occurred. The victim was attending a company barbeque and had walked to the restroom. Once inside, the suspect attacked the victim and raped her. The suspect was described as a male, wearing dark pants and dark shoes.
Police are hoping someone may have seen something in the area at the time of the crime and will come forward with information. It is important to remember when going to public facilities, always be aware of your surroundings and when possible avoid going alone.
