Over the last week, the police responded to three robberies that occurred in the 3000 block of Altos Avenue (near Acacia Avenue). In two of the robberies, the victims answered an ad placed on Craigslist for a television.  The victims were directed to meet on Altos near Acacia Avenue in North Sacramento.  When the victim met the suspect(s), they were robbed.  In the third robbery, the victim gave the suspects a ride home from the Roseville area over to Altos Avenue when he was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspects involved in the various robberies are described as follows:

#4- female Black, 20's, 5'4, 110-120 lbs (set up robbery victim)

The Police Department wants to remind the community of the following when arranging to meet for online purchases:

  • Do not bring cash with you
  • Do not allow the seller into your vehicle
