The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the attempt sexual assault of a victim in her 80's.

On August 4, 2011, at approximately 2:10 p.m., the victim was entering her apartment, located at 5^th and I Street, when she was approached from behind.  The suspect forced his way into the apartment and attempted to sexually assault her. The suspect fled prior to completing the sexual assault allowing the victim to call for help. 

The suspect is described as a male Black, 40's, 6'0, braided hair, white t-shirt and blue jeans.
