The Sacramento Police Department is trying to identify suspects responsible for stealing cigar wrappers, cigars, and cigarettes from two businesses.

On July 26, 2011, at approximately 1:24 a.m., two suspects were seen outside a market in the 3400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  The surveillance footage shows the two suspects loitering in the lot, one suspect disables the surveillance camera (see image #1), and shortly thereafter the suspects are believed to have smashed the front window to the business.  The suspects stole almost a thousand dollars worth of cigar wrappers.  The suspects are described as male Blacks, 16-19 years old, medium build. 

On July 29, 2011, at approximately 4:53 a.m., two suspects smashed the window of a market in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.   The suspects stole cigar wrappers, cigarettes, and cash prior to fleeing.  The side image of one of the suspects was captured on surveillance video (see image #2).  The suspect is a male, unknown race, 16-19 years old. 

Detectives do not know if the two burglaries are connected at this time.  However, due to the proximity of the two incidents, the suspect ages, and the type of items stolen, police are actively investigating the possible connection between the crimes.
