The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a home invasion where the victim was sexually assaulted.
On August 21, 2011, at approximately 2 a.m. officers responded to the 4800 block of Kokomo Drive on a home invasion. Based on the investigation, officers believe the suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door and robbed the victim at gunpoint. Sometime during the robbery, the victim was also sexually assaulted. The suspect was described as a male Black in his 20's, 6', 200 lbs, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and baggie blue jeans.
Although it is unknown at this time if there is any connection, police are also investigating two other home invasions that occurred in South Natomas within the past several weeks. In both of these cases the suspect entered an open garage door in the early morning hours and robbed the male victims at gun point. The suspect was described as being a male Black, 20-30's, 6', wearing a hooded sweat shirt and dark pants.
