On September 14, 2011 at 7:09 a.m., officers responded to the 3600 block of Marysville Boulevard on a deceased male. Officers arrived and located the deceased victim, a male White in his 40's, with upper body trauma. Detectives now believe this is a homicide and may have been a case of mistaken identity.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene. Detectives are continuing their investigation and the circumstances that led to the man's death. His identity is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
