The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 37-year-old male.
On September 17, 2011, at 6:05 a.m., officers were called to the area of Northgate Blvd and Highway 160 where a male appeared to need medical attention. Both police and medical personal arrived and found that the victim had been shot. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting; however, they have yet to identify a suspect(s) or motive.
