The Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department will compete in a charitable basketball game.

On October 15, 2011, at 4 p.m., the game will take place at Sacramento High School in the Dave Hotell Memorial Pavilion.  There will be raffle prizes and all proceeds benefit the Sacramento Police Activities League.

The Sacramento Police Activities League is an organization of volunteer sworn police officers and non sworn personnel who are working together to connect police officers and our youth through activities, sports and other programs. To date, SacPAL has sponsored both a mountain biking and rugby team, "Tennis Play Day", "Fitness Camp", and a fishing derby. The proceeds SacPAL receives will help fund and expand additional youth activities in the city.

 Come support your favorite team this Saturday. Admission is only $5 and can be paid at the door. Kids 10 and under are free.  If you cannot attend and would like to donate directly to SacPAL, please go to our website, www.sacpal.org, and hit the donate button.
