The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help to identify a suspect wanted for robbery.
During the period between September 26 and October 11, 2011, police have investigated five separate strong-arm robberies. In each case, all victims have been women ranging from 68 to 85 years old. During midday hours, the suspect has approached the victims in public and forcibly taken their purses including knocking victims down. Several victims have sustained injuries during the robberies.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic in his early 20s, 5'6" to 5'9", weighing approximately 145-160 pounds. The suspect has been seen fleeing on foot as well as in a small red pick-up truck, and a dark-colored pick-up truck with large rims and low profile tires.
