The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the murder of a 25-year-old male found on Traction Avenue.
On Sunday, October 23, 2011, at 10:13 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Traction Avenue on a subject who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to the hospital where he was later declared deceased.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to this homicide. However, they have yet to identify a suspect(s) or motive.
