The Sacramento Police Department's High School Mountain Biking Program is teaming up with Peet's Coffee to help support their riders.
Join us at Peet's Coffee on the corner of Alhambra Blvd and Folsom Blvd between December 17-24, purchase a beverage, donate your change at the register, and Peet's will match every dollar donated. All proceeds will go to the SacPD High School Mountain Biking Program. A little change makes a BIG difference.
The mission of the SacPD High School Mountain Biking Program is to serve at-risk youth by keeping them out of gangs, safe, active and in pursuit of lifelong learning. They are an all-volunteer organization soliciting funds to serve as many kids in the Sacramento area as possible, so they may race in the NorCal High School Cycling League each spring.
The majority of the coaches and volunteers are off-duty police officers, teachers and college professors. You can contact the SacPD High School Mountain Biking Program at lbhsmightytitans@gmail.com and follow them on face book at www.facebook.com/SacPalmtbteam.
