The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying the suspects involved in the murder of 23-year-old Vanthoeun Som.
On Sunday, November 12, 2011, at 1:42 a.m., officers were hailed regarding a fight that had just occurred in the parking garage at 15th Street and K Street. Officers discovered 3 victims who had been stabbed during the altercation. Som later died from his injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide. The motive for this murder and the confrontation between the suspects and the victims is unknown.
The suspects were described as two male Blacks who fled the scene on foot. The suspects were seen exiting a local club (picture #1) and entering the parking garage (picture #2). The suspects are the male in the striped shirt and the male in front of him, in the white shirt.
