The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 19-year-old man.
On Monday, January 30, 2012, at 7:08 p.m., officers responded to a call of a man who had been shot in the 100 block of Bicentennial Circle. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body. Medical personnel declared him deceased at the scene.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide. They have determined that the victim was involved in a narcotic transaction at the time of the murder.
