The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old male Asian.
On Thursday, February 09, 2012, at 2:00 a.m., police responded to a call of a man who had been shot in the 1900 block of Del Paso Blvd. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim had been shot multiple times in the upper body. Medical personal transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a male, Black in his early 30s and was last seen getting into a white, Ford F-150 pickup truck, license plate 8K45096. Police have since located the vehicle, unoccupied, near the crime scene.
