The Sacramento Police Department has arrested the "Evil Clown Robber."

On February 3, 2012, detectives located and arrested 43-year-old Vanna Sisounthone in connection with three robberies stemming from January 19-21, 2012. 

During the first two robberies Sisouthone shot at both store employees and a witness who was attempting to write down the license plate of his get-a-way car.  In his third robbery, an elderly store clerk fought with the suspect which led to the victim ripping off his mask as he ran out of the store.

The Sacramento Police Department would like to thank the Sacramento County Crime lab for their diligent work in this case as their efforts were instrumental in identifying the suspect as Vanna Sisounthone.
