The Sacramento Police Department has arrested a 15-year-old male for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy while at a park.
On March 20, 2012 at 5:40 p.m., police were called to the 6200 block of Logan Street regarding the sexual assault of a 7-year-old boy. The victim was near a playground when the assault occurred. Through the use of surveillance footage, police obtained a detailed suspect description.
During the investigation, an officer familiar with the area located and detained the suspect nearby at his home. The 15-year-old male suspect was arrested and booked into juvenile hall. There was no prior relationship between the victim and the suspect.
