The Sacramento Police Department wishes to inform the community of the suspicious and potentially dangerous behavior of Albert Toon.
On Wednesday, March 22, 2012, at 5:48 p.m., officers were called to the area of 60th and M Streets on a suspicious man chasing women. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male lying in the middle of the street. He was initially uncooperative but was eventually detained.
The investigation revealed that this man may have chased at least two women down the street. He followed one woman and caught the attention of a passing motorist. When he began running after the woman, the motorist stopped and the woman got into her car. The man ran up to the window of the car but then turned and left. There may have been a second female, likely a minor, that was either followed or chased by the suspect. She is encouraged to contact the police department.
The man's name is Albert Toon and is described as male White 46, 5'7" and 180 pounds. The community is cautioned about his behavior. Toon was arrested yesterday, charged with resisting arrest and annoying a child (due to the youthful appearance of the victim). He has subsequently been released because his chargeable offenses were misdemeanors.
