The Sacramento Police Department is asking the public for their help in solving a homicide.
On March 12, 2012, at 11:01 p.m., police were called to the Roy Nielsen Park, located at Center Parkway and St. Lukes Way, regarding the sounds of gun fire. Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male victim who suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Witnesses reported seeing the victim in a dispute with a small group of male Black adults prior to the shooting.
The suspects were last seen driving away in a 1995-1996 dark-colored Buick with a primer- colored front right fender and a front right headlight that was pointing upward. The interior was described as dark in color with a dome light hanging from the headliner.

Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
